Breaking News: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Sworn In

Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India - March 12, 2023

In a historic ceremony, Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the 18th Chief Minister of the Government of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, March 12, 2023. The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad and was attended by Governor Syed Abdul Nazeer, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and other dignitaries.

Naidu, who previously served as Chief Minister from 1995 to 2004, was elected to the post after his Telugu Desam Party (TDP) emerged as the largest party in the recent state assembly elections. He is known for his focus on economic development and has pledged to continue to work towards the progress of Andhra Pradesh.

"I am deeply honored and grateful for the trust that the people of Andhra Pradesh have placed in me," said Naidu in his inaugural speech. "I pledge to work tirelessly to build a prosperous and inclusive state for all."

Naidu's swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Andhra Pradesh. The state faces several challenges, including economic inequality, unemployment, and environmental degradation. Naidu has promised to address these issues and to make Andhra Pradesh a model state for development.
